Elise is a great wedding planner. She responded to all of my emails and phone calls very quickly and she had answers to all of my questions whether it was etiquette based or recommendations for planning. At my reception she carried out all of my plans to a "t". Right before I walked down the aisle the string on my petticoat broke and Elise had the safety pin that held me together for the night! My reception ran smoothly, I never worried about and both of our parents never had to worry about making sure certain dances took place, the cutting of the cake, the bouquet and garter toss, all of that was taken care of. Also, my reception hall, Paradise Cove, comes with an event planner, and Elise worked with her very well. Elise made sure that photos were taken of all the guests by snapping a picture with the disposable camera at every table. She also coordinated the loading of our gifts and cards into the right car. A lot of Elise's work was behind the scenes, but because of her my new husband and I plus both of our parents were able to just enjoy the wedding and our reception without having to worry about anything. Thank you Elise, for everything you did to make our wedding special!

Words cannot express how much I appreciated having you to rely on for all the details of my daughter's wedding in May of this year. Even at times when I thought everything was about to fall apart, you were there with your expertise, your graciousness, and your professionalism and calmly took care of it all. Your personalism also meant so much to me; the way you took a personal interest in it all and you were such a joy to work with.

You listened to my input, you listened to my daughter's input, and you gave yours, and without your advice and expertise, it could have been a disaster. You always knew just what to do. And the fact that you ALWAYS responded quickly when we called or e-mailed you was so important. Even with you planning other weddings at the same time as ours, we felt like we had your whole and undivided attention. Thank you so much for that!

With the wedding and reception being in Dallas at the Crescent Court Hotel, and with me, mother of the bride, living 60 miles away, you were a lifesaver! There is no way I could have ever coordinated such a beautiful wedding, even if I lived right there in Dallas. Your referrals for the vendors were superb. You went out of your way to see that everything went smoothly. We had so many compliments about how well the wedding and reception was organized and about how beautiful it was!

In addition to all that, I feel like I have a new friend! I hope we can keep in touch! We do not have the pictures from the photographer yet, but when we do, we will have to get together!

I was a nervous wreck planning my wedding. I had done most of the planning on my own and was feeling overwhelmed. My mom suggested that I call a wedding planner to help me with the rest of the details. I found Elise’s brochure from the Bridal Show and set up an appointment. She was very positive and uplifting. I met with her several times to go over my plans and she gave me advise on the ceremony and reception. She has so many ideas and experiences from other weddings that she is able to visualize problems that might arise. It was great to listen to her ideas and concerns. As a mother of the bride, it was so nice to just sit back and enjoy my daughter’s wedding. I didn’t worry about anything because I knew that Elise had it all taken care of. She took care of calling and confirming the times with all of the vendors. She was there at the church two hours before the ceremony to set up the flowers and guestbook and to get everyone ready for the pictures. At the reception she collected all of the gifts and packed them in the car and created a to-go box for my daughter and son-in-law to enjoy later on in the evening. I had a unique situation when faced by my son’s recent wedding. His bride was from Estonia and was new to America. As she was completely overwhelmed at the prospect of trying to plan an American wedding (and she can’t drive), the duties fell to me to prepare the wedding for both the bride and the groom. Although my budget had to be very tight, I knew that without the help of a wedding coordinator I would not be able to enjoy that very special day because I would be buried in the details. I went online to find a wedding coordinator and Elise Turk of The Wedding Planners was the first to respond.

I found Elise’s assistance to be invaluable. She was able to help me find vendors willing to work on a holiday (the wedding was on January 2, a Sunday). Everyone she recommended to me did a professional job at a reasonable price. I was particularly pleased when she consulted with the bride to see if there were any special Estonian traditions she wanted incorporated into the wedding. Elise then found a way to imaginatively carry out the bride’s wish to “sink her name.” After the wedding and reception, my son went out of his way to tell me how glad he was that I had hired a wedding coordinator because: “we needed some one there to take charge without having to be overly sensitive to everyone’s feeling.”

It was a pleasure to work with Elise as we planned our wedding. She was an excellent resource as she recommended vendors, in addition to giving advice and having a listening ear!!! The amount of e-mail correspondence between us was abundant, helping us to verify information during the planning process. (This was the best means of communication being that we both worked during the day). If she did not have an answer for our questions at that time, then she made sure she got back to us as soon as possible. Riki and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her vendors: Melodies and Memories (DJ), Wayne Green (photographer), and Jeff Miller (videographer). Melody sat with us for three hours

discussing our music selection, in addition to helping us plan sentimental portions of the ceremony. Wayne’s photos are beautiful, alleviating any fear that lighting was a concern for our outside evening wedding. Jeff also worked with us to include both our wedding rehearsal and honeymoon footage in our wedding video – we are very anxious to see the final product!!!! We had our fairytale wedding, and we owe a large portion of that night’s success to The Wedding Planners. The Wedding Planners have been a tremendous help in planning our wedding. The vendors they have recommended have all been fantastic to work with! Our favorite vendors were Melody from Melody and Memories DJ, David our photographer from Lake Point Photography, and Jeff Miller our videographer from Pinecone Productions who gave us a very generous discount as we booked him 1 month before our wedding.

Elise was always prompt to respond to any question, no matter how minute. The Wedding Planners have been great about getting everything organized and making sure we have all our ducks in a row. I cannot say enough

We were trying to handle everything ourselves, which was getting tougher and tougher the closer it got to the wedding. After talking with you, you were willing to step in at just the right time. control, unorganized disaster. And, the chocolate miniatures were such an added bonus...they were wonderful. The videographer you recommended to us, Jeff Miller with Pine Cone Productions, was such a great guy to work with. He to, stepped in with very little notice, and was able to video the Rehearsal and Wedding. The quality of service you provided to us was superior. Don’t ever forget us because we will definitely want your help when our younger daughter gets married.

Mikey and I just wanted to say what a tremendous job Elise and Cindy did with the coordination of our wedding. Being that we hired them less than a week before the ceremony to coordinate both the wedding and reception, they had a challenging job getting all of the details and helping everything go smoothly. Elise and Cindy jumped in as if they had been there during the entire wedding planning process and we had no worries or issues on our wedding day. It was truly a pleasure to deal with them and we received many compliments on the job they did.

Our experience with The Wedding Planners was both enjoyable and above all else...stress free. With both of us in our mid-40's we knew two things. One, we wanted to be able to sit back and enjoy our "special day" and two, since the wedding and the reception was held at my parents house, we wanted to make sure my parents were not forced into trying to handle both the vendors and the guests. Elise and her team made sure we didn't have anything to worry about. After our initial meeting with Elise, the only thing she really asked of us was to make the decisions regarding the vendors we wanted to use. I would like to especially commend our caterer, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, whose food is out of this world.
